You don’t need a luxury occasion to get on a massage table. Most of the people who walk into Soleil Spa for a massage are showing up with the same things you are — tight shoulders from a desk job, a low back that’s been complaining for weeks, the kind of stress that doesn’t go away on its own. A massage therapy session in Pleasant Grove with one of our licensed therapists or trained apprentices is one of the most effective ways to reset, both physically and mentally.
Soleil Spa sits in the heart of Utah County, serving Pleasant Grove, Lindon, American Fork, Orem, Highland, and surrounding communities. Whether you’re booking your first massage or you’re someone who’s been getting bodywork for years, we’ll match you with a therapist and a modality that fits what your body actually needs — not just what’s on the menu.
Massage services we offer
Every body is different, so every massage at Soleil is different. Your therapist will tailor the session once they understand what you’re working with. Here’s a look at the modalities we offer:
Swedish massage
Long, flowing strokes combined with kneading and gentle compression to release surface-level tension, improve circulation, and shift your nervous system out of fight-or-flight. If you’re new to massage or want general stress relief, this is where most people start. Available at apprentice and LMT levels.
Deep tissue massage
For chronic muscle tension, stuck knots, and pain that hasn’t responded to lighter pressure. Slower, more targeted strokes work through the deeper muscle layers. Right for athletes, weightlifters, manual laborers, and anyone with persistent neck or back pain.
Prenatal massage
Designed for the second and third trimesters with side-lying positioning and pregnancy-safe modifications. Eases low back and hip pain, reduces swelling, and gives you an hour where the only thing you have to do is breathe. First-trimester clients welcome with OB or midwife approval.
Couples massage
Two people, two therapists, one room. Both clients receive a full session — Swedish, deep tissue, or a combination — side by side in a private suite. Often paired with our Couples Sun Soak Hair Ritual or a couples facial for a longer spa day.
Custom massage
Between modalities? Want Swedish-pressure on your legs but deep tissue on your shoulders, or hot stones added in? Your therapist can build a custom session that combines what your body needs that day. Just tell us at intake.
Lymphatic drainage & post-op
A clinical modality, not a relaxation massage — and one of Soleil’s specialties. Used to reduce post-surgical swelling, support recovery after BBL, tummy tuck, and lipo, and address chronic lymphatic congestion. 60, 90, or 120 minute protocols.

The Soleil approach
Premium LMT vs. apprentice massage
One thing that makes Soleil different from most massage spas in Utah County: we’re an apprenticeship spa. That means you can choose between massage with one of our Licensed Massage Therapists or with an apprentice training under direct supervision in our state-approved program. Same techniques. Same intake. Same standard of care. The difference is experience level — and price.
Tier One
Soleil Apprentice Massage
Performed by a massage therapist in training. They’ve completed the foundational coursework, are working under direct supervision of an LMT, and need real-world hours on their path to licensure. You get a full hands-on session at a more accessible price point. Many of our regulars book exclusively with apprentices and rave about them.
Premium Tier
LMT Massage
Performed by a fully licensed massage therapist with years of clinical experience. The right choice if you have a complex injury, chronic pain that hasn’t resolved, or a specific condition that benefits from advanced training. Available for LMT Swedish and LMT Prenatal sessions.
Not sure which to book? Call us at 801-637-0495 and we’ll help you choose based on what’s going on with your body and your goals for the session. There’s no wrong answer — both routes lead to a great massage.

What to expect at your appointment
If it’s been a while since you’ve had a massage, or if Soleil is your first stop, here’s what to expect from start to finish so you can show up relaxed instead of guessing.
01
Arrive 10 minutes early
First-time clients fill out a brief intake about pressure preferences, areas of focus, current injuries or pregnancy status, and any health considerations.
02
Quick chat with your therapist
They’ll review your intake, ask what you’re hoping to get out of the session, and answer any questions before you start.
03
Privacy & comfort
Your therapist steps out while you undress to your comfort level. You’ll be properly draped — only the area being worked on is uncovered at any time.
04
The session itself
60, 90, or 120 minutes of hands-on work. Speak up about pressure, temperature, or anything that doesn’t feel right. A great massage is a conversation.
05
After
A few minutes to come back to yourself, get dressed, and grab water at the front. Your therapist may suggest follow-ups — hydrate, stretch, ice or heat — but no pressure.

Easy to reach from Lindon, American Fork, Highland, Cedar Hills, and Orem. Free parking. Relaxed atmosphere.
Pricing and session length
All massage services are available in 60, 90, or 120 minute sessions. Apprentice rates are noticeably lower than LMT rates, and we frequently run member pricing and seasonal promos.
Current pricing for every service is available when you go to book online — pricing changes from time to time, so we keep it on the booking page so you always see the current rate.
Most first-time clients book a 60-minute session. If you have multiple areas to address (low back, neck, shoulders, hips), 90 minutes lets your therapist work each area thoroughly without rushing. 120 minutes is for deeply held tension, multi-region work, or when you simply want to fully unplug.
Frequently asked questions
How often should I get a massage?
It depends on what you’re working on. For general stress relief and maintenance, once a month is the most common cadence. For chronic pain, post-injury recovery, or pregnancy support, weekly or every-other-week makes a real difference. Your therapist can help you figure out what’s right for your body.
Is prenatal massage safe?
Prenatal massage is safe and beneficial for most pregnancies in the second and third trimester. We use side-lying positioning, avoid pressure points and techniques that aren’t recommended during pregnancy, and screen for any contraindications at intake. First-trimester clients are welcome with a written go-ahead from their OB or midwife. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, please clear massage with your provider first.
What’s the difference between Swedish and deep tissue?
Swedish massage uses lighter to medium pressure with long flowing strokes — it’s the most relaxing modality and ideal for stress relief or general muscle soreness. Deep tissue uses firmer, slower pressure that targets the deeper muscle layers — better for chronic pain, knots, and tight areas that haven’t loosened with lighter work. Many clients combine both in one session.
Do I have to be undressed for the massage?
You undress to your comfort level. Most clients undress fully or down to underwear; some keep underwear on. You’ll be draped under sheets the entire session, with only the area being worked on uncovered at any time. Your therapist will step out before and after the session for privacy.
What if I don’t like the pressure?
Tell us. There’s no rule that says you have to power through a massage that’s too firm or too light — your therapist would always rather adjust than have you leave wishing it had been different. Speaking up about pressure, temperature, music, or focus areas isn’t rude, it’s how you get the massage you actually want.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We work by appointment to make sure your therapist is fully prepared for your session. Online booking is the fastest way to find an open slot — we often have same-day availability, especially mid-week.
